Why India?

India has long been regarded as one of the great homes of spiritual inquiry and inner exploration.

For thousands of years, seekers, mystics, yogis and practitioners have emerged from or come to this land to explore the nature of consciousness, embodiment, liberation and human potential.

Many of the practices and philosophies that continue to inspire transformational work around the world today have roots in this cultural and spiritual soil.

This includes some of the great archetypes of the Masculine and the Feminine.

Popular social ideas of masculinity usually restrict it to one or two, usually the ‘hyper masculine’.

In India though we see not just the hyper masculine, or the warrior, but a much fuller and wider spectrum. From the warrior (Shiva) to the Creator (Brahma) to the lover (Krishna), and much more in between.

There is something special about doing this work on this sacred and powerful and, and feel the vast range of being in a male body.

Robbie Griffin

Facilitator

Robbie Griffin is a founding member and facilitator at Emergence Brotherhood and Faculty at ISTA. He has spent ten years working in Western and Eastern philosophical and somatic traditions, including 18 months at Highden Mystery School.
He holds rooms with warmth, directness, and a quality of presence that men return to.
